In Part 2 of 3 we are going to touch on the importance of Blogging and the effectiveness of this inbound marketing technique:
So the question is…why is it so important to blog?
Unfortunately there isn’t one simple answer to this question. Blogging does a number of great things for you and your business.
First off, qualifying you and your company to potential clients is crucial in any business. People want to know that YOU know what you’re doing. Nobody wants to buy a product from a company they don’t trust. Blogging about certain aspects of your industry puts people at ease and builds trust. But don’t just blog about your services, people want to get to know you as well. Yes being a professional in your field of expertise is important, but people also want to do business with a company they like. Find a nice balance and you’ll be on your way.
Secondly, blogging creates new and relevant content on the web. Search engines like Google, Bing and Yahoo are constantly spidering the web looking for engaging content for their readers. Putting yourself infront of your competitors when people are searching for your products or services is a great way to produce leads online.
So the next question is always…when do I find the time to blog?
This is a question that a lot of business owners struggle with, including us! Unfortunately you have to ask yourself, how important in the internet to my business? If the answer is “Very” then you have to find a way. Whether it’s hiring someone to blog for you or finding the time yourself, blogging is a key element when it comes to the online marketing game. Neglect it and you’re business is missing out on a large piece of this important puzzle.
